How many channels will you need to record at once? Meaning how many mics will you need to set up all at once?

And yes, what is the budget?

I can't spell.

What do you want the mixer to do? Do you want one to connect to your computer via FireWire or USB? Do you have a connection to your computer and you want the mixing board to take in all the inputs first? The budget is pretty important too. Try to give us as much information as possible.

what he said........a mixing board isn't really necessary these days to record onto your computer.....try a good firewire audio interface.

oh Yamaha has a new mixer that's also a usb audio interface and comes with cubase LE, the MW10 for $250 which has 10 inputs and the MW12 which has 12 for $380.....i think this might be right up your alley.

cheers

I saw those too, they're looking to be the bee's knees for small setups. I'd love to try one out, but I've already got a USB solution.
