Sampletank 2 Free

How do I get it to make sounds aftrer I have downloaded unzipped and registered the product, and sounds that I have? I want to layer severl sounds on top of each other

You do know that it will only use the free samples supplied specifically for it from the IK Multimedia site? I couldnt see any info on wether it will do layers or not. It sounded like it was pretty limited as to what it will do.

yeah I've got the free samples and got them working. It's like I can assign a sampleset to channel (i guess?) 1 and play and it will respond, but it doesn't work with the sample sets assigned to like channel 2 and three and such. Know of a good free plug in that will allow to me layer sounds? Just basic stuff like strings, bass, piano, timphoni, and a pd?

They have descriptions for if it is a sampler/player or whatever. Theres a ton of them to look through. I have used a few of them, dont remeber the names but most are pretty good and easy to use.
