Hey all,
A buddy of mine had been working in Reason 3.0 and it crashed while trying to access a patch. He had been working on some stuff for about 3 1/2 hours when this happened and lost everything.
Do any of you know if a TMP file or some other form of auto-backup file might be available?
Thanks,
Lonnie

Mar 24, 2006 05:01 pm eek Reason locks up on me every once and a while, but all i gotta do is close sonar and re-open and i'm back up and running.....SAVE OFTEN!
is reason not working at all?
also, sonar has an 'autosave' feature which you can set to any number of edits you make...like every 7 changes, bam it saves all by itself....i choose not to use it though, cuz once you save, the undo feature goes away. i'm not sure if reason has this or not.

Mar 24, 2006 05:06 pm Ya, he is kicking his *** for not saving often. I was hoping to be able to deliver him some good news about how there is a file that is created (auto-save) but I can't find such a thing in the manual or on the web. I just hope that his computer is in one piece after all this. His PC may very well be launched out the window by now.

Mar 26, 2006 09:02 pm BeerHunter. You might try looking in the applications audio folder. Some apps create their own backups with each change you make and store them in a temporary audio folder. Most do not dump them unless you specify to do so. So they might be in there.
