I didn't really check it out too close, but from what you said it sounds like a pretty substantial upgrade.

might want to give this a look over.. i couldnt believe it when i read this.

theyve updated the program again, now you can use vst/vsti synths and other plugins directly in acid and automate everything.
plus theyve included a ridiculous amount of software along with it.
i ordered myself a copy of it.. seeing as how they added all the features that were making me look at cubase.
