The original version of this track I wrote in 1982...never planned on redoing it...but it just kinda happened....rewrote most of the lyrics to be more in the times....
thanks to Imellow64 for the solo in the middle...everything else by me...

Mar 07, 2006 06:55 pm Definately got an 80's guitar sound with that mid heavy tone cutting through. The drums and bass might be a little in the back of the mix, but not real bad at all. I blame soundclicks player for the heavy mid sound on the entire track though.
Interesting lyrically for sure. Liked it for sure, and the playin was great.
Mar 08, 2006 11:19 am well...growing up completely influenced by 70's and 80's rock radio...its no surprise my tracks are heavily influenced by the sounds of that era...
I guess deep down, I'm just a guitar rock guy and its tough to hide that in my writing...even when I focus more on acoustic...
