Reason sound samples

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use the sound samples (ie drum sounds etc) that are in Reason with other software, such as Traktion, in the same way you can use VST instruments? I have Reason but find it hard to use (I'm very new to this) and like the look of Traktion 2.

i'm afraid mostly not....you can go into program files > Propellerhead > Reason > ummm something, and sometimes they'll have .aiff or even . wav's for the NN-XT but usually they're embedded in a .rfl (refill) file...

if you have alotta free time, you could sequence individual notes out and bounce them to audio in your DAW, then cut and export the individual samples....just import them into Tracktion and you'll be.............good ta go.
