Hey I got a laptop that I want to get new memory for. I have 1 gig with two 512 sticks but I want 2 gigs. How do I find out what kind of memory will work best on my laptop? I have been having trouble loading big eastwest samples since they load themselves into the memory and I run out with certain ones.

Feb 11, 2006 07:16 pm You will need to fidn the manufacturer info on the laptop, either from a local computer store or from the manufacturer's website. Its an easy process once you have the memory to install it and get up and running.
So if you know the model number you can get the info that way. Or you can remove the sticks that are in it and bring them with you to the computer store and they should be able to hook you up right there.
