I wanna live in a city with no friends or family
I'm gonna look out the window of my color T.V.
I wanna remember to remember to forget you forgot me
I'm gonna look out the window of my color T.V.
Through the cracks in the wall
Slow motion for all
Dripped out of the bars
Someone smart said nothin’ at all
I'm watching T.V.
I guess that’s a solution
They gave me a receipt that said, I didn't buy nothin’
So rust is a fire and our blood oxidizes
My eyes rolled around, all around on the carpet
Oh hit the deck, It's the decal man
Standin’ upside down and talkin’ out of his pants
I wanna live in a city with no friends or family
I’m gonna look out the window of my color T.V.
Through the cracks in the wall
Slow motion for all
Dripped out of the bars
Someone smart said nothin’ at all
and in this life like weeds
you're just a rock to me

Aug 04, 2002 09:48 am I thought the Aniversary was taking time off to write songs for their next album? That's what we were told a few weeks ago...
Aug 05, 2002 07:44 am They are playing those 5 shows, and then going to europe for a fwe weeks to test out the new material. session will start mid september. new album out may/june 2003. ive heard alot of what they are planning to use on the next album. the producer chosen by the band will be Rob Schnapf (guided by voices, saves the day, not to mention the anniversary's sophomore release, your majesty). The band feels a special connection to robby and maybe the next one (with some of the labels new marketing schemes) can hit the big platinum. just a thought. but anyway, yeah. go see them. be there or be square.
