WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!

Guys..you may remember my song "Leith SanSiro Hibees" - Big shout to Olddog, Flame, Coolo, Bleak and Whosyadaddy who performed/remixed and all others who pitched in with comments/advices etc...

The song was played at the club ground on Saturday....in front of 17,000 fans!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So - the song is selling well. SO far I have given all the profits to charity (And will continue to do so) and have netted about £100 so far (About $160) all for dniprokids.com - JOY!!!

Big shout and I must say, it was brilliant hearing a song I wrote/produced and performed in front of my own buddies and my teams fans in our ground...only to be bettered by actually standingi n the centre circle and playing it but hell, over a BIG MOMMA PA System will do me!!!

MERRY XMAS AND BIG THANKS TO YE ALL FOR YER HELP FOLKS...

GLORY GLORY TO THE HIBEES!

Coco.

I believe he refered to the recording being played.

The club ground would be the stadium I am assuming, as there were fan's there as well. 17,000 of them to be exact.

Congrats coco, keep it coming, and going, and so-on.

Cheers guys...much appreciated.

Aye - the song I produced (and some good people here contributed too/remixed) was played at my local football club ground (Hibernian FC, Edinburgh).

This was to boost song sales as I am giving all the profits from the song to charity (Dnipro Kids - a charity set up by fans of our club after we went over there to play the local team in European action earlier this year).

So, my contribution was the song. I penned it and as I say, some good peeps here remixed it, Olddog done some drums for me too and there was also a fantastic slice of commentary done by Glenn (forget your user name buddy but NOT your real name!!).

Anyways, you can catch the song on this website:
www.leithsansiro.co.uk
You can see the charity appeal here:
www.dniprokids.com
And...you can view the club website here:
www.hibs.co.uk

As I say - big shout to all who helped and indeed, big shout to you all whom, over the last 2 years, helped me learn the ropes of recording - all much appreciated.

Makes it all the more worthwhile when you know something ye create, is being enjoyed and even more so when the real underlying benefit are some Ukranian orphans so, aye, makes me feel good!

In fact, I may do another at some point in the future (maybe not football themeed and maybe for a different charity) but aye, its good.

Cheers again guys...and, Merry Christmas.

Thanks Noize...your purchase is most appreciated and now adds more cash for the kids this Xmas.

The guy who started the appeal is back off there (Ukraine) in January to deliver around $4000 collected by fans of the club here, donations etc and song sales so THANKS bigtime.

And also, thanks for the comments..appreciate those too for sure.

Flame - aye...that is very cool indeed and I agree, to have yer song played at your beloved club, man, it rocks!!!

Cheers guys...

Cheers TC and Noize...much appreciate the kudos!

Aye, it does indeed please me a lot to have folks not only help out the charity (now donated £100 for something I wrote and made in-house (i.e. my house :-) but folks enjoying it too!

Aye, when I set out to write songs 14 years ago, I didnt really expect to grow and actually be confident (to a degree without over confidence) I was improving but now, I am pleasing my own ear (sometimes, I still like to be self critical) so aye, its a case of "JOY" - folks like the stuff.

ANyways, cheers again guys and Noize, cheers for the purchase..much appreciated. You may be interested to know the appeal (overall) has generated £4000 (about $7000) in the space of 3 months from the fans with sales, auctions etc for the ophans so thats all excellent news.

Ah, the joy on those kids faces will be something else.

Cheers again ye all...

Cheers Chris - lovin the fact folks are liking it I am more than anything else. There was one person who said she loved the geetar, pity aboot the voice but hell, ye canny please everyone eh! Still, to a point, I dont disagree, but as I always consider me a guitarist who sings LONG before I would EVER call me a singer, thats all cool!

DJ Whosyadaddyo version was just on the site - good stuff bud! :-)!

ROCKIN...!

Cheers again to ye all .. withoot all those diverse mixes and indeed the input from OldDog and Thermocaster and all ye who helped, wouldnt have been anywhere near as complete!!!!

Happy New year to ye all...!

coco, I am sorry but I for one would never be critical of your voice. As I have said way to many times, you have a voice meant to be in those types of tunes. I as well dislike my own voice, so much so that I rarely have ever sang using my God given natural voice. Always choose to sing with a touch of someone else in my voice.

Its all in your head mate!
