You got ripped off on ebay if you were not given any reg #'s...any "tricks" to getting reg numbers is illegal and considered piracy.

and please disable the caplock key.

I bow humbly at your feet...just the same, it's no fun getting "ripped off" intentionally or not...just trying to solve the mystery of AARDVARK Q10....

Check for the numbers inside any documentation they may have sent you with the card. Also, look on the disk sleeves the CD disks came in. Search for "Aardvark" and "Q10" on this site. Someone has a temporary site with the drivers download, but it may not last long...

Yeah, I did that search last night but that site doesn't appear to be up anymore...

Have you contacted the person you bought the software/hardware from?

Yeah, that would be the first logical step, then search the internet and try to find the latest drivers for the Aardvark...good luck with that, they are elusive.

you should be getting sound without any recording app....bring up the mixer for the q-10 and make sure the inputs are not muted (right side of the mixer) next check your outputs, what do you have connected to the 'monitor out' on the q-10?

I still do the Aardvark Support Group asg.hopto.org there is also a fairly busy yahoo group in the asg link section. I have all of the recient official drivers and a hopefully upcoming update will introduce a beta driver someone begged off techsupprt just before sesation of operations.

The website is a bit flaky as I am averaging atleast 6GB of bandwidth a month so my consumer router dies every few days... next update should make it more stable... but I am in the last two weeks of photography for a movie I'm working on and will be in audio syncing hell for the next week or so.

With the Q10 it is absolutly critical that you followed the instructions during installation. You probably installed the drivers with the breakout box attached or something.

The license number should be printed on the cakewalk CD case

oh, thanks zek, I went there last night after doing a search of HRC forums and the site was down, glad to see you're still runnin it.

Oh, by the way, if you set the nav style as a div that goes across the full pixel width (width:100px; or whatever the width of the buttons are) the whole button will rollover like just the text currently does :-)
