About dbmasters

dbmastersI am the owner and operator of dB Masters Multimedia, and the webmaster of this home recording community.

I was in my first band at age 15 and have been interested in capturing sounds on tape ever since my dad bought his first little mono cassette recorder when I was very young. I hope this website helps others trying to perfect the same craft as myself, songwriting and recording. It has been a very rewarding, and good learning experience running this site. It's grown from a little indie site into a pretty large, high traffic site in the years I have been running it. I am quite proud of what myself, the volunteer staff and contributing membership has accomplished in our little corner of the web.

I started dB Masters in 1996 as a mastering facility but have moved into video production, web development and IT consulting with it since. I incorporated in 2004 and hope it continues for a long time to come.

I am primarily a bass player and an engineer, but dabble with guitar, sequencing and other aspects of music creation. Just finished my little EP project, all the songs from which are available in the music section of this profile.
