has anybody seen those? mic stands that have like a bendable/snaking end to them? so you can like position your mic perfectly? kind of like a bendy straw?

anybody have any experiences with them? they look good but are they sturdy/practical?

anybody know where i find them online?

Don't move them while performing, the noize will vibrate thru the microphone...horribly annoying, I went for boom-stands instead.

The best is when you put a SM58 on them, and they just slowly start to slide down, and to the side.

If you doing a corporate gig, with just a person talking behind a podium. They are fine. Other then that, just leave'em where ya found'em!

I tune down down...

theyre good coz they last longer than the ridgid version when deliberately trying to smash them beyond all recognition.

After a bit of time they do tend to start to rattle a bit.

Rob, that is an experience I've been through. I still to this day feel bad for laughing out loud while the guy stooped lower and lower instead of grabbing it and holding on.

Coarse when he did grab it and bend it back up. Well you know the sound it made.

Not unlike human leg bones being run thru a wood chipper.

I would love to see one of those hold my K2 mic. The second I let go it would be on the floor.

Might be nice for positioning an SDC on a drumkit in an area that is hard to reach, but I wouldn't even try to put a standard sized mic on it.
