Dec 25, 2005 11:34 pm Same here, I spent most of the day geeking out installing software and formatting friggin mp3 players, downloading video card driver's and software updates. Blah, blah , blah ,blah.
Tuna's new digital camera rocks though. Had to update the frimware in the thing allready though. That was a PITA, took a little over an hour.
My sis in law bought the boyz spanky new mini Sony digital players. And ya gotta install their friggin software just to format the damn thing.
Did get to swill a few Guiness though, yummy. Now I gotta drive my oldest boy home, I sure wish the bumb would get a license, and a car.
But the big joy of the day was my father actually plodded down here and sat his butt down and wanted to here some of my music. I damn near cried, as he has never had an interest in anything I have done. I figure he isnt long for this world and wanted to see exactly what I did here. He actually asked me to play something live and show him how I record the stuff.
When I was finished he got a splendid little version of the Peter Gun theme, as that is about as rockin as my dad ever got. I'll post the result's after I tweak it a little bit.
