I wouldn't use hardcore and ska in the same sentence.

I agree with flame, but with Hero as well...while "hard reggae" I would say is a type of Ska, I would hardly use "hardcore" :-)

Lost for words with all to say.

hahaha Johnny!

Here's a link to a post that is pretty recent talking about Autotune:

I love Autotune! I put it on ALL of my vocals and it makes such a big difference, especially with background vocals that need tight harmony.

Na u all wrong....hardcore reggae is not ska.. and hardcore reggae is not really a genre i just hard reggae u know reggae that is HARD i can't explain it lol u have to assosicate yuhself and make reggae part of u to know it lol.....but reggae came out of ska tho, ska which developed from a blend of mento (folk music they sang in jamaica)and rock and jazz and others so in the 1950's.....and then coming down later tha evloved into rock steady and then into reggae like in the 60's u know and R&B and calypso had some influence these styles a good bit too....calypso originated in my country (Trinidad and Todago)arround 1910-1920's but it had it since like mid and late 1800's but they called it different names :D lol i proud to boast it.....and even RAP has its roots in jamaica....in arround the late 60's or so it had this man name U-Roy them call him Daddy U-ROY now cause he come like the founda of the style "deejay" its like toasing or chanting some would call it....he was the first man to ever rap/chant/toast or wha ever u wanna call it on a reggae riddim, u know it maybe had more who did b4 but he made it popular...and the jamaican immigrants brought it to NYC in 1970's and then they pick up and jazz and those style blend up and u get hip hop, jazz influenced more on the musical side and toasin(reggae) on the vocal side....but in calypso they used to have a style name "war" since far back in the 1920's ..."war" is like freestyle battling....but it was more musical than rap more melodic and thing....but same kinda speed when chanting and this chanting was far more developed than the jamaican chanting in the late 1960's and this was so far back in 1920 and this influence that too....so u could say rap came from trinidad indirectly lol lol lol :D lol....oh and when i say hardcore reggae please don't associate it with tha softcore american ska LOL...in hardcore reggae its real u know from the harsh life from the ghettos of jamaican and thru out the caribbean where ever it is sang...chantting for equal rights and against opression u know....and some chant gun tunes and gangsta tunes some chant ladies tune and some sing love tune so on.................well u get the idea......blessed love
