So, for anyone who's interested in listening, I thought I'd let you know that I have successfully (in my mind anyway) mastered a couple of the tracks for my group vox machina. You may have already heard the songs, but now they are mastered (and radio edited). You can hear them here.

Just for kicks, for some of the newer folks at HRC, I thought I'd also give a link for some of the music I had finished before I found HRC almost 2 years ago now(!). It might to be fun to compare a little before and after. Admittedly, I have picked up some much nicer gear, and upgraded my software a little bit, but I think what my skills have improved more than anything. Peep the old stuff here.

I think this might be as good a testament as any to the community that is HRC. I can honestly say I have picked up at least 95% of my recording/mixing/mastering knowledge from the folks at HRC and plain old experience. Shouts to all who have contributed, and special thanks to db and noize.

Certainly a world of difference coolo! Very impressive job. The genre of course isn't something I normally listen too, but it sounds very good.

Well, you know how I feel about it for sure. You indeed have traveled a long way down the road from beggining toward the end. And it defo has grown better as you have gotten along. Although I still like your original pieces without a doubt, those will always be some of my favorites.

coolo - I would not be exagerating to say that I lierally never listen to hip hop... but I clicked on "Voice Machine", and was pretty much floored... The rythyms in the vocals were catchy as hell. The music was really original and didn't strike me as inane; I gotta admit that a lot of other hip hop background music DOES sound pretty inane to me. I'm listening to "Inspiration" now and I'm getting the exact same feeling about it. I am really enjoying this. Cool, man, very cool.

Hey thanks a lot for listening guys.

Tincan, I gotta admit that alot of hip hop I listen to (especially commercial hip hop) is completely inane, and not just the background music.

I hate to say it, but I'm just surprised at how far I've come, even though I know there's still a long way to go. I just now started serious work on my next solo project. Should have something to show off in the next couple months.

Hey Bruno, thanks for listening. Though I didn't produce all of those tracks (music ideas) I did mix them all (and rhyme on them all). But yeah, gotta give credit where credit is due (and for me, a lot of that is here).
