Aug 17, 2004 10:39 am Thanks! I took a lot of your advice to heart, dB. I was pleased to read your article and find that I'd done most of what was in it.
Plus I took an online course in web design and usability, which helped out a lot.
About the stuff on the front page... I'm trying to keep the site positive, not become anti-recording industry or anyting. But I do feel strongly that "professional" music has been so emphasized that it's made the average musician irrelevant, and that now the technology exists for us to win back a little ground from the big businesses.

Aug 17, 2004 01:54 pm Sorry the last thread took a rather negative spin, I can assure you it wasn't intended, but well, that's what happens on forums sometimes, one post is taken a way it wasn't meant, the next gets worse and it's all downhill from there...sometimes this messaging without face to face contact can be tricky.
Kudos on the new site tho, much improved, I may be sending you my EP once it's ready...

It's a music review for home-recorded, independent CD's. There were a lot of indie review sites out there, but I decided it'd be cool to start one that just focussed on home-recorded music.

You know there's talent out there but alot of times because of lack of funds &/or PR they go unnoticed. I know you said your trying not to have an anti-recording industry site but I'm glad someone else is sticking up for the(talented) little guy! I'll definitely be visiting your site alot!
I really like the color scheme you chose. It has a very pleasent feel to it. Good Luck!!
