Food is awesome

Tonight, my girlfriend and I are having an ultimate feast of ungodly proportions.

We're starting out at the Outback Steakhouse, where we plan to consume an entire bloomin' onion. Mmmmm.

Next it's on to Red Lobster for the all you can eat shrimp feast.

Finally, if either of us can still drive, we're going to end up at either Denny's or Friendly's for desert.

We start our diets tomorrow. Haha.

Well, at least there are no calories, carbs, or fat in cigarettes :-D

I quit smoking cigarettes a few years ago and I've been steadily gaining weight ever since. Stupid slowing metabolism. And beer. And gin. And apple fruit pies. And Sonic's foot-long chili cheese conies. Darn them all and their lard-inducing savory goodness! Dang, I'm hungry...brb

No just the tar that coats your lungs and the nicotene that kills you... :-D

i'm just getting older. I was 6'0", 150 lbs since sometime in high school, and i could metabolize anything. I'll be 28 in march, i don't exercise, i still have the diet of a 4 year old child, and i drink too much :-/

It's kinda penance for having a desk job.

Well, typically weight gain after quiting smoking is because one stops the habit of nicotene, but fails to stop the habit of the hand-to-mouth action. Often times it gets replaced with food in the hand rather than a cigarette.

As far as getting older, yes, it's quite common for any typical, semi-athletic kid to be a skinny little dude until about 25-30 years old, then the "thickening" process starts, we no longer get taller, but start getting thicker, not fat, just broader shoulders and thicker chests and such...

I have quit smoking once before and the funny thing was I never gained a pound. Myabe I was lucky. Now I smoke pretty light except when drinking beer, I can drink cocktails and it doesnt make me smoke more just beer. I am also lucky to be moving constantly throughout the day so other then a slighty enlarged belly I am not what I would consider fat. I just need to get a little more involved with the expensive piece of gym we have in the house to get my girlish figure back.

Bloomin onions do indeed rock, I have eatin a whole one in one sitting once and yes the horsey sauce is the bomb.

Found a new Thia place that is very good. I will be eating that stuff more often as his curry is the best I have had around here. And he is willing to make it so it will peel the paint off the car.
