of course they ALMOST lost to two of the worst teams in the league and their schedule only gets harder, but at least the start 3 and 0 with all three games division games. :-)

Sep 22, 2003 12:32 pm I'd almost list faith in the Vikings after their season last year. They looked soooo good just a few years ago. They have been quite a surprise so far this year. I raised an eyebrow when I saw that Detroit was beating them 10-0 early on, but I'm glad to see that they ended up on top.
I have a good friend that's a huge vikings fan, so by association, I cheer for them when I can. However, I definitely won't be routing for them come December 20th! ;-)

Sep 23, 2003 05:24 am Well, also keep in mind they are playing at the dome, and even in their worst seasons they beat good teams at home.
All in all the Vikes are not looking that good either. Theya re 3-0 yes, but look who they have played...and the games could have been lost at any moment.
The lucky thing is that the Vikings have a very explosive offense, and no team is really safe unless they score about 200 points cuz Culpepper, Moss, Campbell, Williams and the others can explode and get a lot of points really fast.
That is if that two-bit punk Moss feels like playin, which he surely did not against the Lions.
I hate Randy Moss.
Let the games begin! :-D I'll hoist a drink to ya during the game :-)

Sep 23, 2003 09:48 am Alot of people around here feel the same about Terrel Owens or T.O. as we affectionately call him. Personally, I think the difference is that T.O. has his heart in the game and is ultra-competitive even though he sometimes is immature when he opens his mouth thereby putting some people off. But from afar, it seems as though Randy just doesn't care sometimes.

which is the vikes, by the way :-) I heard Owens made some mouthy remarks over this week. I guess you do have your "Randy Moss" huh? Well, Culpepper isn't playing, but Moss is. Luckily Ferotte is a good and experienced QB.
Have fun, I am wearing my purple with the new sound system on my TV cranked up! WooHoo! NFL puts some work into their soundtrack, surround adds a lot to it.

Sep 29, 2003 02:22 am ok, that was awwwwwful. I turn on the TV about halfway through the 2nd quarter (it's tough to get up for those 10:00am games sometimes), and we're already down 14 to nuthin. Then, it just got worse. I don't know where to start, so I guess I won't. Wow, I am just very disapointed.

It's always fun talking smack when games are close, but the 9ers really got creamed...I started feeling bad by halftime. But honestly, in the second half they came out to play ball and did pretty good, but the game was too far gone by that point.
You're right, that Owens guy needs a little blanket party thrown on him. What a punk. Hopefully he'll grow up and the 9ers will have a team leader instead of a whiney baby.
