I think he is still in the UK. But I'm not 100% on that. I haven't seen any post from him on FB in a little while now. But, I'll take a look and see.

Hey guys. Thanks for thinkin!

I'm in Amsterdam. Good friends and family are ok. Pretty ******* scary!

On the positive, its great to see the community coming together. Boysmum (my mum) is using her pick up truck to cart food and supplies from homes to a drop off point on the outskirts. From there, its flown by helicopters to the more damaged parts. My dad said they moved 20 tonnes of food in one day!!

My friends are either baking food for people without homes, or out there cleaning the streets next to the civil defense teams.

If you can spare a cent, make a donation to the red cross www.redcross.org.nz/donate . Goes towards cleaning up the city and helping some really, really lovely people get back on their feet.

Much love! x

Boysmum pops into my head every time I see the news cover this story, but I could never remember the part of the country you guys were from.

Very glad to hear she's OK, Arie, I knew you were out of the country, her well being did surely weigh on my mind. Good woman she is.

Everything in my profile minus a couple of guitars and my amps.
Doesn't look like insurance will pay out either. SIGH.

Losing someone is far worse than losing gear... Thoughts are with victims friends and families.

How can insurance NOT pay out? Didn't have that earthquake rider coverage or some legality?

I looked at your gear list. Let me know if you are interested in a DBX 160a compressor. It's no distressor but I'd be happy to end it your way if you will use it. Wish I had more I could afford to send your way.
