After seeing Har-bal come up so many times in topic I was really curious to hear some before and after examples, but just couldn't find any. But I ran across one today and I figured I would put the link up in case some others might be as curious as I was. I must say the examples here were impressive in my opinion. I found the example on the link below.

Dec 06, 2008 11:47 pm Har-Bal has a new website...it no longer has that distinctive dB Masters look to it. Plus, it's a lot slower than it used to be.
Hmmm...
Also, they keep talking about the Mac OS X version, but I'm beginning to wonder.

Still working on mine, but you get the point.

Dec 07, 2008 05:48 am i have it, i guess its a good tool but i havent really used it much, the fact that it shows the spectrum of your song is good i guess, i wish i knew i had a spectrum an. on my rec. software though before i bought harbal.
i really dint need it to start with.
i dont think harbal is anything special though really.

Dec 07, 2008 01:21 pm I thnk it's a really useful tool, it won't make a bad mix sound good but it will make the mix translate well to lot of different audio systems.

Dec 08, 2008 02:59 pm Harbal is not anything special, it is exactly what it claims though.
It is an analyzer and an EQ, of course you are supposed to listen as with all tools, the visual does help me tame lows though as I have 5" monitors and no sub. Saves me several blank CD's during those test runs.
I have wasted $100 on far less usefull things.
