Sarah Palin spent "tens of thousands" more than the quoted $150,000 on clothes for the Republican campaign, met McCain aides in her hotel room dressed in nothing but a towel, and did not know Africa was a continent, according to new reports.

Fox news has reported that Mrs Palin did not understand that Africa was a continent, not a country, and did not know what countries were in the North American Free Trade Agreement.

well, yeah. but what was mccain thinking? if this is true about her lack of knowledge, then mccain didn't put country first, and this should anger anyone, even republicans.

dude, that's disingenuous. everyone knows that was a slip. you know how we know? because you, db, know the number of states in the USA.

there are slips and then there are glaring holes in knowledge.

I think McCain and Palin were sacrificial lambs led to slaughter. There was virtually no way a republican would have won the white house this time around no matter who they put up. And really, they shouldn't have, Republicans have abandoned their centrist majority and dictated societal norms that they hypocritically can't bear themselves, the left builds on bogus robin hood claims that they'll never do because they'd be stealing from themselves...and have completely lost touch with middle America in a swing to the very far left in some cases. ("far left" per American definition).

I think we elected Obama. I think we need to watch him like we did not Johnson through Bush. I think we are here now and need to deal with it. Or, I guess, we can just cry victom, whine alot, point our fingers, and wonder what Paris is wearing.

GAS IS DOWN TO $2.09! Where! I'm still sitting at $2.58!

God, I have been dreaming that it would go down to under $2 for ever. I didn't think we would. But, if you are at $2.09, then it could be possible!

Yeah, I saw that price at several stations in Macon today. It's been dropping like a rock here in central Georgia lately. At the current rate, it will be under $2 by next week.

Then again, a flying pig may break my windshield too.

Flying pig, powered by ethanol, i'd believe =).

I saw 2.33 this AM in Northern MI. Sweet.

My little gas sipper is only taking 30$ to fill now-a-days. I like.

Hell, for that price, I can pay you, and have you ship it to me. And it still would be cheaper!

There was something on the TV last night "8 out of 10 cats" see if you can find it, its well funny.

Someone on the programme mentioned that Palin couldn't be more right wing if she was holding a bible and a machine gun while standing on a mound of dead gays.
