My 5 year old boy has been playing T-ball. Our first time through this ('er indoors volunteered to be "Team Mom"...apparently that's a rookie mistake). Anyway, the coaches have drawn me into helping out (what do I know about baseball? I was a cricketer!).

How f***ing cute is T-Ball???

I laugh like a drain all morning.

"Hey, Johnny....Put your hat on and stop playing with the dirt..."

I rocked at T-Ball! OK so I was average. But I was so bad at little-league baseball. I never made the transition to the ball being thrown at me by another kid my age...I mean, how can you trust some kid to not knock your block off with that thing? Plus my non-althetic prowess stuck me in the unenviable position of deep, deep, roving right field.

I played soccor as a kid. And by played soccer i mean, I wore the uniform and played in the grass. In fact theres a video of me as a kid sitting down playing with grass as the kid on the other team runs by with the ball. Whe asked why I didn't get up, I said "this is more fun"

That pretty much defines my little league soccer career as well. But who could really get behind a team called the Lil Boppers? That's gay even for a kid's team.

I was a big loser in basketball as well. I never had the lungs for it, nor the hand-eye coordination. I played in 1 game, got hit in the back of the head with a passed ball due to lack of attention span, and called it quits.

It seems that billiards was the only "sport" I was ever good at.

I played soccer when I was in kindergarten, but all we did was practice, we were too young to play games against other teams... so I quit. I wanted the competition.

When my mom signed me up for little league baseball (coaches pitched... too late for tee ball), I was the happiest kid in the world.

I stopped and watched some youngsters practicing baseball the other day. It's always good to see the kids playing!

Yep, kids rock. I played football and hockey and some baseball though I sucked at that. Softball was much better once I was older.

Tuna and Ray played T-ball and baseball for awhile. Ray sucked in the field but that kid could hit so they kept him on the team. Kind of unfair as he was way bigger then most and just smacked the thing. Now he has no desire to play at all. Although he does play street football and the coaches have begged him to play for school he wants nothing to do with it. 15 years old and just shy of 6 feet and weighs about 220. If I was a coach I would be buying that kid whatever he wanted in order to get him on my line up.
