I am having a problem with my JCM 2000. So I called Marshall. The other day and they said since I bought it from the states they couldn't do warranty work on it. They would have to charge me. Well I was a little pissed. Then I got an E-mail today. telling me to call them back.
I just got off the phone with Marshall, UK. After talking to the stateside reps they decided they can honor my warranty here in England, even though I ordered it from Guitar Center.com. They are going to look at it while I wait and they have booked me a Factory tour. I get easily excited I know, but this is gonna be bad ***.

Mar 11, 2008 07:45 am Care to donate an article to HRC about the tour? That would be awesome...
That'll be very cool to take...I'm jealous.

Mar 11, 2008 11:10 am Yeah, when you tour a brewery you get a couple of beers at the end. When you tour a distillery you get a couple of shots at the end. Now when you tour the Marshall factory, you should definitely get a 1x12 combo at least :D
Mar 11, 2008 01:08 pm Do me a favor while your there.
Beat the living crap out of the state side rep. I have been trying for the last two years to get anything out of them.
All of the state side part dealers for them, can not get the parts that I need for some of the amps I have here at my shop. And England refuses to contact me. Tell them to sell direct. Would greatly improve their relations all around the world.
Mar 11, 2008 01:09 pm I took a Marshall head to the factory and they were brill.Picked it up after thorough testing no charge. They said it's fine just bin all your leads!DUH
Mar 11, 2008 02:46 pm I see what you are saying. But, I do electrical engineering, so I know the parts that I need. Marshall will not sell them state side.
