Wow dB its blue!
I've always kept the default black since the beginning, but I dig the blue too. The border shadows are a nice touch. Looks crisp.
You playing around on a Friday night, or is this a new thing?

Jun 09, 2006 07:36 pm He switched it just as I hit the post button on an HRC Pro thread. I got this and freaked out. Went to edit my profile thinking I messed up and there wasnt any themes button anymore. Ended up calling dB up and found he had made the change.
I do like the blue as well as the gray thread background. easy on the eyes. And looks kool to boot.
But Tad, you are the first post about it. So it took awhile to get noticed I guess, aside from me.
Jun 09, 2006 08:46 pm Yeah, I was getting bored, felt like shaking things up a bit...it's not done yet, this was just a quicky change, more to come, maybe after a couple shots of jagermeister, get the kids to bed and I'll take a crack at some other stuff...

Jun 10, 2006 01:23 pm i also went searching for a way to go back to black. do we have no choice now?
Jun 10, 2006 02:54 pm Hey mon!! Someone stole dem Dukes ;-) !!
Nice one dB. Nice...
Coco.
Jun 10, 2006 03:13 pm I had to take away the theme option...tough choice but I had to, the simple fact so much more work was involved in changing the site at all, I haven't changed it in ages, and I really wanted to add a little better of a look, since this is one of the sites on my resume, I hated always using the "oh, well, this isn't a good example of my design skills but..." excuse at interviews and such...
Plus, the biggest reason of all was that I was just sick and tired of the one-dimensional look of the site, just the little bevels and shadows give it a little bit more life.
The theme option could possibly, maybe come back some day, but I dunno...

Jun 12, 2006 10:19 pm Hey now. I allready said I like the blue. I'm even thinking of switching my silver XP to the Blue XP just to make it all fit nicely together.
Jun 12, 2006 10:34 pm I loved the sandy beige theme, very warm and comforting after a long days mixing.
dB, wouldn't it be more of a red colour? Guess it'd still look better than a blue mouth.
Jun 12, 2006 10:36 pm And what would your sensei say dB? Your striped belt power is corrupting you.
Jun 13, 2006 02:40 am oooh i never saw the sandy beige color

he would say "they sound like a bunch of sissies anyway". :-)
Most martial arts are the honorable "don't strike unless struck" type of mentality...we learn more of a "if a fight is eminent, strike first, strike hard and strike often" mindset. Heck, one of the recent techniques I have learned was how to take somebody out while shaking their hand. :-) Mr. Myagi would be sick to his stomach...

Scratch one visit to where ever the hell you live.
Jun 13, 2006 08:28 am LOL, OK, by "take out" I just mean incapacitating, not killing :-) in this instance the person is left with a broken knee and a hell of a headache if done properly.
