Comparing NT-1A to NT-2A?

Similar to musicdreamer7's request, I'm considering ld-condensors, and I'm torn between the NT-1A, and the twice-as-expensive NT-2A... Does anyone here have both, and able to give an opinion on comparison? I'm curious if the NT-2A is worth the money for its 2nd diaphragm. I know all about the switchable polar patterns, roll-off & pad switches, I'm just curious about the "sound" for recording acoustic guitar (D-35) and female vocals. (it would be nice to have the switchable patterns as a bonus...).

well, i have no clue about the nt-2A, but i have 2 NT1-A's and i am VERY pleased with them... VERy. very rugged for mics that sound so good. very versitile aswell. I use a stero pair on my acosutic guitrs and they soudn wonderful. I'm not sure about female vocals, but ive had a guy taht had a pretty high voice and it sounded nice and crisp. the nt1-a add no coloration at all, which can be seen as a good thing, or a bad thing...
just my 2 cents.
