I hanestly havent heard that much of them. I use a couple older CAD models and love them. Very clear and full. The NDM 10 I beleive is for snare and high and mid toms. The NDM 11 is more for the lower toms and floor tom.

If they are anything like their earlier stuff I would say they would be a good deal. I suggest you let your ears decide. Plug em in and try em out.

By what I've been told by the drummers that have tried the Nadys... the CADs have got to be the better of the two .

Yep, the Nady's are bum stuff for really getting the drum sounds. Their wireless stuff was really good at one time, now their mic's have kinda been set to the side as far as quality goes. But their wireless systems I guess are still pretty good.

But for the drum mic's I would opt for the CAD stuff over Nady anyday.

I don't mean to sound rude, but, a Google search with "Cad microphone" turns up all sorts of hits, with:
www.cadmics.com/
right up at the top of the list...

www.google.com/search?q=C...:en-US:official

That should give ya more then enough places to check.

Google, its your best friend.

I know I have searched using google, and if you notice info about the models im talking about are nowhere to be seen, including on CAD's own website. Google jsut comes up with studios that have the mic's, no info about them... heh

www.adirondackguitar.com/...CAD%20NDM10.htm
www.adirondackguitar.com/...C.A.D/NDM11.htm

top of the list for the model numbers in Google. Looks like they're discontinued. I didn't read all about it, but I didn't see a price listing. Perhaps a neighborhood music store has an old price list?

There were several reviews in the google search that I saw. They should have info in them.

I actually just sold a (5) piece PDK CAD drum mike set that included (2) NDM10, (1) NDM11 and (2) electret condensers for a $100. This kit was $ 300 back in 1999 so the (3) mics you are referring to are a good deal for $100... They are decent mics similiar to an SM57; however, not as rugged.
