Hey HRC -
I recently hooked up a second monitor to my PC, with the intention of keeping my mixing board window maximized and open at all times on one monitor. I'm able to drag every window over to the other screen EXCEPT for the mixer. Its driving me nuts. Is there something in Nuendo I have to configure for it to allow me to do this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Oct 21, 2005 03:09 am I've never used Nuendo, but I had the same problem in Cubase Sx. If you right-click on the actual Mixer window you will get a "Always keep on Top" option. Selecting it allowed me to move the mixer aswell as a few other windows to my 2nd monitor.
Again, this was in Cubase though it may help!

Oct 21, 2005 10:03 am Hey Blindfold -
After messing with it for over an hour I finally got it to work last night. I could move Nuendo as a whole over to the second screen, but the problem was any windows inside the main Nuendo window were not moving over to my second monitor. So I ended up just stretching the width of the main Nuendo window across both screens. Then I was able to place the project window on one screen, and the mixer on the other. Thanks so much for your input.

Oct 21, 2005 10:05 am In Sonar you right click in the very upper corner of any window (on the little corner icon) a dropdown comes up that says "float window" (or womething like that) and it unlocks the window for free floating, perhaps there is an option there...
Oct 21, 2005 11:00 am yeah it's easier in sonar, but i think it's because it's always been PC only, so to a PC user, the interface is extremely fimiliar...i know mac's have the ability to maximize or move windows, but it's not identical to windows....is Logic the Sonar of Macs?
Oct 21, 2005 11:03 am I have used Logic on Windows (back when it existed) I always found Logic kinda complex...I'd rather use ProTools...
