Oct 04, 2005 08:25 am I'll tell you first hand those types of store fronts don't typically yield much, and actually, cafepress ripped me off of a couple sales I did have once.
I wouldn't exactly call this spam, but I would call it unapproved advertising...and I would also call it pretty cool looking art. That last pillow is really cool.
Hey, didn't you get all pissed at me for something I didn't even say then stomp off? What brought you back? Just sellin' stuff?

Oct 04, 2005 08:05 pm The pillow is very interesting looking indeed. I like the colors you used, as well as the design.
Oct 05, 2005 06:50 am Dear dB
I know they don't pull much. I sold one unit in well over 4,000 hits which is beyond pathetic. You have to sell to your existing fan base if you have one which I don't have yet.
I wasn't pissed off and I didn't stomp off, I'm too busy to argue with people on the internet as you probably are too. I can't even remember what you said so it must not have affected me that much.
Best regards,

now there's internet wisdom to live by.
Oct 05, 2005 08:25 am Yeah, I am too busy to let internet arguements bother me, but it does bother me when I get hassled for something that somebody else said...
Oct 05, 2005 01:42 pm I'm too busy to argue with people too, but I always find the time to watch other people argue.

Oct 05, 2005 02:06 pm That's just typical of you dB-Wan. Geesh!
You just don't get it, do you......
HEHEHEHEHEHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Can't resist.
Oct 05, 2005 02:18 pm Hey TallChap, I just looked at your profile...I had a b-20 for a while, a headless one, great bass...I have an A-10 6 string as well and a Washburn Acoustic...me like Washburn.

Oct 05, 2005 02:34 pm Headless one? Wow, that would be cool. It's a neck-heavy bast...er..thing. Cool shape, and finish. Pete Way used them with UFO (sponsorship), and I liked the way they looked. I did see an eight string that matched. Didn't have the cash, otherwise it would have been cool.
Unfortunately, it never seemed to sound rock'n'roll enough for me & I could never manage to sell it, so it has been converted to fretless (with brass inserts into the fretboard). It sounds lovely now. Mmm-wah.
Washburn do seem to have high QC. Nicely made instruments. I like the new electric guitar they just launched..Idol series? Pretty.
Oct 05, 2005 02:39 pm I agree, I liked the b20's feel, and on small stages headless was good to have. But you are right, it was a little too dull of a sound to cut it for long in the rock bands I played in so I switched to an Ibanez 5 string, then to my current ESP 5 string with active electronics and play through the Bass POD xt...great sound!
I still have the A10 6 string, same body style as the B10, but it's not getting played much since I got my Variax 700...I even just had my A10 totally redone, neck shaved, half refretted, new Q-Tuner pickups (awesome pickups) and all that, then I got the Line 6 Variax 700...

Oct 05, 2005 03:15 pm Really cool designs. Are they based off of anything "traditional" in the field, or is it strictly "in the style of?"

Oct 06, 2005 01:34 pm The last one appears to be the planes of existance... quabalistic... spiritus mundi, baby .
Oct 27, 2005 12:06 am It's not traditional, just in the style of. I did copy the designs in my notebook but I rendered them with acrylic paints and not with gold leaf or colored sand.
Dear Hue, it's a model of the perfect universe I wish to inhabit and where I will go when I die. It's also for controlling all of the inhabitants in it's environs to be under my total domination Muahahahahahahahah.

Oct 27, 2005 07:37 pm My acoustic is a washburn... I love it.
Oct 27, 2005 08:59 pm My acoustic is a Washburn too, I love it, got it for $80 at an auction too.

Oct 27, 2005 09:19 pm Hey, we all have Washburns. My pointy guitar from the Robert Palmer video is a Washburn. And I am looking at a Washburn bass from Ben. Nice 5 string for a decent price. I miss that purple Jackson custom bass, wish I had never sold it.

Outstanding ! On a pillow, no less !
Oct 30, 2005 05:44 am I have also played Washburn's - good guitars for rock for sure...
Alas, never purchased the sucka as I went for the fender back then but aye, I will perhaps nab one, at some point in the future for the collection...fine axes.
