Jul 18, 2005 06:36 am typically the path is something like
c:\\\Program Files\\\Steinberg\\\vstplugins
Though it can differ from computer to computer. The important thing is just finding where your other VST plugs are and put them into the same folder.

Jul 18, 2005 08:31 am also, you may need to tell your host app to 're-read' the vst directory. Kinda like refresh the list so the host can show you what's there.
Jul 18, 2005 10:14 am hmm considering im using acid it wouldnt be in a folder called steinberg would it? or am i missing something
Jul 18, 2005 10:16 am VST was created by Steinberg, so, surprisingly, many apps use that as the default VST path...and yeah, I forget that "re-read" thing with Acid, it's come up a few times in this forum...
