How many mics do you plan on using on the kit? That would seriously improve the accuracy of any recommendation.

hi
quite new to all this could any one give me a hand.... i want to record a sax, bass and a drunk kit onto the computer using apple soundtrack and ideas what i need to do this with??i.e audio interface or midi???

Feb 08, 2005 06:05 pm I believe that M-audio is mac compatible (correct me if I'm worng dB) . if you need about 8 anolog inputs , you have afew choices . there's the Delta 1010lt (229.00) it has 8 ins (the other 2 are digital to make 10). there's the deta 1010 (500$?) it has 8 1/4" inputs and theres digidisgn 002 and 001, (1500-2200$ i'm not sure the exact price) . theres some of the cheapest in price interfaces, but they all work well, I prefure M-audio but I'm not going to knock digi stuff.
