The B-52's are playing about one mile (as the crow flies, 2 miles as the car drives) from my house at Mistake Lake (er, Mystic lake, my bad) Casino, I just got tickets.
I'm stoked...Roam has been going thru my head all morning.
They are one of those bands that I never buy CD's from or anything, but every time they are on the radio, or doing some musical spot on a TV show I always crank it up...
I wonder if the red-headed chick is still hot after all these years...or even still a redhead...

Have fun, be safe !
Dec 15, 2004 09:18 am Yep, worst case senario is we walk home.
Actually, no, the lamest part is the Mistake Lake does not have alcohol, but thats OK, it'll actually be good probably.

Dec 15, 2004 11:39 am Get back stage, meet the band ! THEY will have 'refreshments' ! Naw, there isn't anything wrong with a sober NYE . We're probably going to do the same 'ol : "party at a friends house" thing... although I actually seriously considered just doing absolutely nothing, as well .
Man, do I suddenly feel "old" ! LOL
Dec 15, 2004 12:03 pm Generally our neighbors and us do a progressive dinner from house to house, plenty of food drink and fun. I am going to kind of miss it this year it always fun and nobdy has to drive, but something fun with just me and my wife will be fun too. I am totally looking forward to it. SObar is good, actually, I have not had a beer in probably 3-4 weeks due to some personal health issues I am having again...so being sober on NYE won't be a big diff...
