High,
I hope u can help me lol....i am almost to complete my riddim (beat). but i need 3 more instruments i tried some instruments that came with cubase but they not making it(sounded really fake) and it not what i want....well i want a trumpet, flugelhorn and trombone...can any body help me?....if u can it will be much appricated.. thats mainly what i want.....thanks...blessed

Nov 21, 2004 11:08 am What VSTi are you using? WHat type of samples does it use? What other VSTi's do you have? what sounds are you looking for?
In our links section there are plenty of sites that give away, or charge for access, or many different samples in many different formats, perhaps just browse them and see what kind of cool sounds you can find.
The PowerFX Samples link in our main nav is a great source of samples, and the charge per sample is minimal.

the sounds are amazing, I use their VSTi version regularly in Cubase SX
You can download examples in mp3 format from their site - I suggest you listen to their 'Danube' example for the brass content
Dec 18, 2004 08:57 pm HEY thanks to all.... i got sampletank and some brass and strings....well alot of samples lol....its the v1.0 xl version of it. i got it second hand for very cheap and i got the v2.0 of the sampler alone (cracked version from a friend hehe) and use the samples what i got in it u know.....i am doing fine now thanks alot hrc......this don't have such good guitar samples tho cause when i play a cord it sounds like the real thing but u don't get a realisitic stroke sound u know...but its good enuff....guess i will have to get a real electric guitar for it to give me tha skank u know cause is reggae i deal with......but all i got now is my nylon yamaha......till then i will have to use the samples lol.....thanks alot hrc blessed
