Mac Software

Does anyone have a suggestiong for home recording on a MAC, I want a sofware package similar to Sonar3 for the PC?

ProTools and Logic are the most common as far as I know...and GarageBand comes with Mac now doesn't it?

if ya got the iLife suite ya get garageband, if not buy the whole lot for about £40...

Thanks I do have Garageband, but i wasn't sure that would have enough tracks for me. Do you recommend Pro Tools?

I don't recommend Mac ;-)

Seriously though, I don't know enough about the available software for Mac to make a recommendation of any sort.

That said, I have used Logic and ProTools and they both do the job just fine, I just seriously dislike DigiDesigns business tactics so I try to steer clear of ProTools. But many people here use it and really dig it. Logic I ironically found illogical.

Logic wold be the flagship app for a Mac in the catagory relating to the likes of Sonar and Cubase.

PT is a very expensive alternative for Mac.
