OK, it's getting close to a very important election for the US.
To save HRC from the damage of political battles, a friend of mine started a forum at forum.freesquid.org which we can go discuss the issues if we wish.
But remember the lessons I have hard-learned the last couple years...you can disagree without being hostile :-)

Oct 11, 2004 04:47 pm Yeah, thats why I mentioned it here, cuz it's pretty conservative, we need some other views...the issues that originally bore that site would have led to the conservative nature, which is a long story I will not get into right now :-) It's well known here I am a conservative at heart, but I do have some liberal leanings on certain subject, so really don't fit perfectly into any camp...

Looking at a number of other forums, the global flame war seems to have subsided after the debates started. Only one site I go to for film (indieclub.com) seems to have split... (indieclub.org)

Where did you learn those 'civilized disagreement methods'? Was it an online course, or did you take an adult ed class at the local college?
