Sep 03, 2004 11:46 am This is cool. Only thing I would say is try and sit the vocals back in the mix a little bit. Definitely on some laid back.
Sep 07, 2004 09:21 am Aight, thanks...do you have any tips on doing that..(sitting the vocals in the mix better). That seems to be one of the most difficult things to do. I've tried it where it sounds good thru headphones and monitor. but when I play it in the cd player it sounds low. Any suggestions?

Sep 07, 2004 10:41 am like, a hifi type cd player or a walkman type thing?
Sep 07, 2004 10:11 pm Don't know if its hifi cd player...but I'm talking about a regular Bombox type cd player. I have the mastering plugin Izotope Ozone but it has so many settings to adjust I don't know where to even start. I'm doing more research now, unless theres some tips you can offer also...thanks for checking out the track tho

Sep 08, 2004 11:48 am Honestly, I'm listening on lofi, so that may have something to do with it. But, other than that, I would try adding a little bit of reverb or other delay effect like chorus or multitap delay, messing with the eq, and possible turning down the vocals a little.
Just out of curiosity, are you the mc, or the producer.
Sep 08, 2004 02:32 pm Actually, I'm both rapper/trying to be a producer. Thanks, for the tip...Did any of you guys like the track? As in the actual song, along the with production etc.

Sep 09, 2004 03:30 am I like the flow/lyrics (right up my alley), and the beat is cool, I think the main thing that would take it to the next level is just the mix.
Sep 09, 2004 01:04 pm Aight, coolo...thanks. Well, keep checking back for more songs. Cause I'm going to have a few more for ya to check out in the next few months.
