It's called 'To The Sea'.

I got hooked on this song about addictions.

Tried a bunch of new stuff (new for me) in this song and spent way too much time screwing it up and fixing it to the best of my ability. Found myself going thru my recording software manual to try to find solutions to problems I ran into, it was a good thing, reading the manual. Anyway give it a listen and lemme know what ya think.

Well, you may have "out depressed" even me! Great Job. I think those vocals are as tight as they come.
As for the sea getting into the song- i figure that everything, once its dead, will eventually end up in the ocean. so the sea in this case means final resting place.

Fixed.
Hey....if we're going to be happy, we're gonna be real happy....if we're going to be sad, we're gonna be real sad.

I had fun with this tune. Guitar sounds, backward tracks, hi and low vocals, and I really like the way the song ends starting with 'patience in a life without meaning'. I did change one word, I changed 'Feeling the soft soul leaning' to 'gleaming', couldnt resist.

Ahhh...sea=final resting place. Dang, this song is depressing.

I'm listening now. I will write a better post later when I have a chance to give a more in depth listen, but just wanted to say ooooh, backward guitar sound. I love that sound.

I like the song. And, still get hooked on the backward guitars. The guitars in general have a nice gentle feel to them. The only thing I would say, is that the vocals are a bit too upfront for my taste, and I think I just mean the lower register version of the vocals. Sounds like you were right up on the mic when you sang those. The higer register version sounds good. For some reason I hear some Phil Collins drums behind this. Yeah, I like this one though, even if it is depressing. * edit *

By the way TonyD, I like your little title thing. Sneaky Fat Hobbitses.

Very pretty song. Very depressing. This is "late night music", the kind you listen to when you're at home out on the back deck at 3am...
I love the backwards guitar, very tasteful. The vocal harmonies are excellent and really grab my ear at the end. Nice job, Crash!
