May 23, 2004 03:28 pm First impression: Randy Seed is like a cross between Quagmire from Family Guy, Boomhower from King of the Hill, and Disco Stu from the Simpsons. I thought the lyrics were funny, the way they described the guy and everything else. The song is catchy too. I'd listen to this again. :)

It's so interesting you mentioned Boomhower. I was really taken with that character and went around for days talking like him. I also love Southern Culture on the Skids and Tony Joe White.
Thanks for the feed back.

Here are the original lyrics. Some of the lyrics on the recording are ad libbed.
Red Velvet Bed by Randy Seed
I got a candle burning
I got a disco ball turning turning
making love on a red velvet bed
Long slow sensous strokes
From the purple magic smoke
drifting across my red velvet bed
Hot cherry lotion
Flavors us in slow motion
Twirling in a red velvet bed
Fur lined cuffs and leather straps
We don't need a map
To drive this red velvet bed
So put away your fluffy stuff
It will not be enough
To get across the red velvet bed
