I used one once a while back. the effects were all pretty good. The reverb is pretty standard on the unit. Not the bes, but definately no the owrst either. It does have alot of differant stuff for the price. And if it is in good shape that is a plus, the pic looks as if it has been taken care of.

And yes it definately will lighten the load on your CPU.

Flame what about a Lexicon like this: cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISA...;category=23790

Or better yet one of these: cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISA...;category=23790

For the money you just can't beat one of these Lexicons. The MPX serious have made them affordable, yet they still have that world famous Lexicon sound. Granted it's not a PCM-81 or 91, but they are very sweet sounding. I have an MPX-500 and I love that unit. Just a thought.

the lexicon mpx 110 and 100 are terrible and do not deserve to be called a lexicon. tc electronics makes a much better entry level processor the m300. dont get me wrong lexicon is great the mpx 500 and 550 and everything up from there is great but their lowest model blows.

and from what i have heard from zoom their effects are cool but sound so thin and weak they realy dont have any quality in the sound just cool noise IMHO zoom effects are just cheap toys.

i wasnt over impressed with my zoom guitar pedal to be honest...but ive got some interesting vocal effects from it at least.

no gear is bad gear necessarily - its just how ya use it and on what that can make the difference...

Not a problem Flame. I havn't used the MPX 100 or 110. I can only speak for the MPX-500 which for the money is hard to beat as far as I'm concerned. T.C. Electronics makes nice gear as well. I was looking into an M-1 myself.
