Hey whats up, posting another single I'm working on with a pop singer named Mistri from Europe...Lemme know what you think. This is the pre-mastered version. Thanks in advance for any feedback, bad or good on the mix (reverb etc...)!

Sounds decent, I think the vocals could be sunk back just a touch more. Also a tiny bit more interesting instrumentation would be cool, a faint rhythm section or something, cuz the song, sans vocals, is very thin.

That said, this is nothing I would typically listen to so I may be totally off base of what you are trying to accomplish...totally not my style at all...any of my styles ;)

Recording quality tho is good.

DB - Nice...Yeah her vocals are tricky, Im going to do that and re-post it this weekend! Thanks. The whole pop thing isnt my style either, she wanted me to produce it with an urban/club vibe so Im hoping to achieve that! Does the synth sit well behind the track?

Yeah, I thought the synth sat well, maybe double it up with a more bassy synth softer behind to emphasis some of the back beats. I couldn't get a good groove going in my head with the rhythm tho...might just be me...

DB - Alrite cool will try that...Thanks again.

Jamie - Thanks man...She's got a dope voice. I suggested to her that she should get out of the whole pop thing and go r&b/hiphop cos she has a following out there in europe and thats with the teenie boppers. If she switched styles, she might be better off....

deeps,
this def sounds like something to be found on the radio these days. The beat is nice. The vocals are cool enough. But what I keep hearing is that it seems the synth and the vocals are not mixing tonally (harmoniously?) or it could be just that she is flat in a spot or two (during the double ups?). I can't put my finger on it, but there is some dischord there. Additionally I'd bring the synth and beat up in the mix a little bit too (or follow dbs advice and cut the vocals a bit).

Im with Jamie on the radio friendly part as well. For that style of music less is more for sure. I do agree with dB on maybe trying a doubled patch behind the main patch with a bit deeper feel to it. The new synth part that comes in at about 00:17 should maybe be a differant patch as that one sounds very close to the main patch in the first part. Stay with the string sound for sure but maybe something with abit more analog crunch to it, but still smooth if ya know what I mean. Are you suing the Triton for those sounds or a softsynth?

I guess I would like to hear a bit more of it to really get a feel for were you are going, but from what I heard it sounds very clean so far. And very dancable, a deffinate club track for sure!

Noize - Thanks for your suggestions bro. I went back and did some of the suggestions and my synths are sounding crunchier which is good! I'm gonna post up a 1 min sample of it in the next couple of days :)

Hows that trance stuff your working on?

Got the main tracks down. Gotta change the beats though as they dont fit with the synths I finally went with. Need to add a couple of layers of amient stuff and it should be done. I am guessing if I get my other work done it will be mid next week for a test run.

Cool, cant wait to hear it.
