Hey all.
A friend of mine got this mixer
and has no internet so I'm asking this Question for him :)

How do you hook this one up:S

I was there with him and didn't know either
I was thinking the Subouts I have on my mixer
are the same as his alt 3-4 so I put the outputs in there and in to his sound card

but his mic just won't record and there's no
way to route it to those channels

Hope you guys can help

You have 4 outs, main stereo out and two sub outs. Plug a mic into any channel, assign it to the sub outs, plug the sub outs into the ins of your sound card and the outs of the sound card into the amplifier.

On my mixer (the one you have 2 :D)
I have a button next to each fader which says
SUB so I know i can send it to the sub outs

but on his mixer there isn't a button called
ALT3-4 to assign it to those channels
there's only a solo button

^o)
maybe it has something to do with the aux sends or something:S

ah I'm just talking nonsense :)

Yep, that's how it works on my mixer. Say goodbye to your mute buttons, though :)

Geeee, I bet nobody else here has ever had a mute button down when they didn't want to :-) hehehe I have caught myself on that a few times...little tiny button and big fat fingers are not a good combination...

Hey, ya got it figgered out, that's all that matters, now go make some music :-)

My desk has a mute button thats larger then the others and it has a LED to let you know it is on. And it is far away from anything else you might hit.

But that is strange that Behringer went with the alt 3/4 thing as that was a Mackie thing they didnt add to their mixers as it was a bit confusing. But it is the best way to put in more without eating up board relastate.

Oh ya, never done the mute button thing, but have switched the wrong sub outs on and spent 20 minutes looking for why nothing was getting into the DAW but it was live on the desk.

i'm trying to steer my friend towards this very model.

LOL Noize! I know exaclty what you mean. I do something like that every time i go to route something somewhere, it's such a mess in here trying to remember what goes where. either the Delta's muted or the mixer's 2-track ins aren't routed properly or my stereo's muted, or i've got the wrong soundcard selected. what a mess :O)

OK, that is simple enough. Simply turn the aux send 2 knob up and the aux return 2 as well as the stereo aux return 2 as well. That should get you going.
