can i used a stage snake for recording? will it affect anything... i want a permanent setup instead of crawling behind things and losing track of cables and wires?

Sep 22, 2003 08:59 pm Sure, they can be used. The only real downside is that you are going to have your signal running through A LOT of cable then, even when it may not be necessary...though that depends on how big of a snake you get. But yes, it will work.

Sep 22, 2003 09:55 pm Maybe you just need a nice big multicore with a wide "open end" at one end.

Sep 26, 2003 02:15 pm Patch bays will ease the problems of cables winding everywhere also, putting all the ins and outs right in the front of the rack.
