I just had a great experience. I worked on someone else's tune. This time i didnt have to put it together, just "add and fill out". it was wonderfull.
i put harmonica on one of flames tunes- see link in the music comp area (I Neeed HeLLLLLP)
i think it came out cool, but im not sure how he'll react. i put some guitar too, butt, you never know. im sitting on nails till he wakes up in england.
Adding to someones art is tough. (and im no great musicain around here, nor am i a good spellr, but im funny)
i love that you guys have put this together to allow this kind of collab to happen. it amazes me
thanks HRC
LOVE

Hey tonyd, I am having a lot of fun with the collab thing in the HRC Pro forums as well. I am trying to muddle through a way in HRC Pro to actually help facilitate collaboration more allowing space to store and swap files and such...first I have to get the whole fileupload bugs worked out, but after that I have a couple cool ideas blue and I have been bouncing around for HRC Pro.

One of the top on my list is trying to help promote and assist collaboration efforts...

just an FYI, and a teaser to help get more people to join HRC Pro ;-)

I like the contrast of your harps sound with the rest of the music. I wonder what else he has in mind for the tune though. I strongly suggest adding more instruments. I think some of those industrial sounding drums would sound cool. Like a deep bass along with a steel like clank. Y'know what I mean? A bass line also. Just my opinion, but I'd either add more or back off the harp some and just use the accents that sound best (if he decides to keep it accoustic like the other thread said).
I don't think you a$$ed it up. Just needs more (or less).

The thing with the colabs, is you get to hear others ideas with your music. I know I run out of ideas in the middle of a tune more often then not. That is why I have so many unfinished tunes. But working with others on the net is the best way to go as far as Im concerned. I like playing live with someone, but the suspense of waiting to her what someone sends you gives me the iby gibys. Thats a good thing.

jeez this sounds like a swank thing to do, either way you look at it! it'd be great fun to add to other people's songs, and my own stuff, well someone could add the parts that i cant even do at all, like drums!
