BR-1600 Multi-Track Question

Can anyone help?

I started to make a recording using MULTI-TRACK on my INPUT SELECT. I was using a Digi-Tech Vocalist Live3 and I connected the outputs of the Live3 to INPUTS 3 and 4.

When I finished the first take, it seems that TRACKS 3 and 4 were recorded on, but nothing else.

So I wanted to add some more vocals to the recording. Following the instructions, I tried using TRACKS 1 and 2 for the next tracks.

Funny thing though.... THEY NEVER GOT RECORDED!

Does anyone know what I may have done wrong???

Thanks

You're not providing enough information to make a definitive assessment, but remember that the input jacks you use don't automatically correlate to the channel(s) you are recording on. You can input on #2 and record that signal to track 8, for example. If you are recording multiple inputs simultanelusly, make sure you set up the new "song" as "16 audio tracks" and then make sure the input selector is in the "multitrack" mode (as opposed to "guitar", "vocal", etc.).

I don;t know that this helped, but hopefully it did.

Thanks!
