About Miteysix
54 year old semi-professional musician. Electric bass is my primary instrument, but also own several guitars, numerous synthesizers and samplers, drums and a custom Chapman Stick. Recording studio centered around a BR-1600, and I do site recording and post-production work. Also affiliated with a full-sized 96-track studio here in Charlotte as an assistant Audio Engineer as well as the acting Electronics Engineer (electronics engineering is my "real" job).
Basses include a Rickenbacker 4003, Carvin LB76, Hohner BBass VI, Ibanez 2030T custom fretless and a Peavey T-40 customized contrabass.
Guitars include an Ibanez RS240 electric, Fender Bronco electric, JB Player 405-12 acoustic 12-string and a Lauren LA-10 classical acoustic 6-string.
Keyboards include a Korg DW-8000, Korg Poly-800 and EX-800 expander, Korg MP-4, Ensoniq Mirage and DMS-8 expander, Roland JU-1, Roland MKS-50 expander, Alesis NanoPiano, Moog Prodigy and Korg MPK-130 bass pedals.
Recording and rack gear include a Boss BR-1600, several Tascam Porta-One 4-tracks, A Vestafire MR-10 4-track, Roland MC-50 MIDI composer, several Digitech DSP-256 processors, ART FXR Elite and Multiverb LT processors, Behringer DSP1124 and DSP2024P processors, Aphex 104C2 aural exciter, DBX 120 and 120XP sub-harmonic synthesizers, DBX 160 compressor, Ross RX-31M 31-band equalizers and a Tapco 2200 stereo 10-band equalizer.
My main (bass) amp system consists of a Peavey Combo-300 bass amp, Peavey Mk-IV bass amp head, Peavey 212SX speaker cabinet, and an Acoustic Control 106 speaker cabinet. My system rack is centered around ADA MB-1 and an ADA MP-1 preamps.
