Feb 17, 2010 06:40 am I like software better simply because you can buy one single EQ plugin and use it on as many instances of it was you want on as many channels as your PC will allow. With a hardware EQ it is set to one setting no matter what channels you put thru it.
Feb 17, 2010 07:36 am Software. EQ is a simple, yet important effect. And, especially if your ears are fatigued from a long day of tracking, its an easy thing to mess up. With software you're going to be able to record the track and edit the EQ after all the parts are recorded. you'll be able to hear more without a guitar or microphone in your hands. And you'll be able to ensure yourself less mistakes.
