Hello everyone.. I need some tips about my soundcards. I was using the E-MU 0404 PCI. I like it a lot, But It doesn't have MIC preamp, So I couldn't record vocal Unless I run My Mic through a powered mixer( That was annoying). I had two option, Either to by a preamp for my Mic, or upgrade to another USB soundcard with preamp!!! I bought an affordable card ( M-AUDIO FAST TRACK USB) for $100 brand new from a music store. It's a great deal and has a good quality and a build in preamp . My question, Can I keep my 0404 PCI soundcard on my computer and use the M-Audio fast track at the same time? I mean, Can I assign the input from M-Audio and the output from E-MU to my recording program host without conflict?
Thanks

If you use the WDM drivers you can, but you will probably have sync'ing issues between them. As well some audio devices work well at low latency with WDM drivers, many don't.
