Apr 19, 2009 06:21 pm Honest opinion?
Its a scam. Why not tell me exactly what I am getting if they are industry standard and all, tell me the names.
Who builds a single friggin web page that scroll's for eternity to get at the info. And yes, I scrolled forever hoping to find one single bit of helpful info. But all I found was more bloating the product with how good it is.
My guess is it is simply all the same stuff you can find and download yourself for free from place like www.kvraudio.com (which I put a link to in your other thread) or any of the thousand other free sites out there.
Go here and grab all his synths. www.gtgsynths.com/index.htm
Killer stuff and easy to use.
Also check out this section of out link directory here. www.homerecordingconnecti...8&cat_id=18
Me personally. I wouldn't spend a dime on that.
Apr 19, 2009 10:04 pm That web site has many of the tell tale signs of the average, mass produced, scam web site.
Believe me, I have been around this intertubes thing a long time, scam sites are pretty easy to spot when they are this obvious.

Apr 19, 2009 10:15 pm Oh my god. That's one of the worst attempts at a sell-you-something-you-don't-need website I've seen in a long time. All they're missing are the flashing animated GIFs and some scrolling text.
There are 4 GIANT "order now" buttons and ZERO descriptions of what's actually in the $1000 mystery bundle. All they give is a size. Like disk space is the sole way to judge VST plugins' worth. There are some vague general descriptions like "1700 VST and VSTi plugins!" but that's as specific as he gets. Actually on second read I do see that he breaks it down into a partial list of the categories represented. But there should be a list of specific plugins, and some indication of who developed them.
There are so many things to rag on about that site, I could go on for a while.
The only description of the audio quality is "These plugins and effects are absolutely bananas". That's his description. Bananas.
What the hell plugins are actually in this thing? Who developed them? Why are there no trial/demo downloads? Why are there user testimonials but no user forums (this is an indication that the author either sifts through all the myriad negative comments to post up the 2 or 3 positive ones, or that he just makes them up himself).
This guy is full of ****. I wouldn't pay $10 for that bundle based on that website, much less $1000. What a crock. (Now I see that its $37. $1000 is what he's trying to convince you that it's actually worth. Pffft. Whatever).
Apr 19, 2009 10:18 pm Yep, those really long, one page type sites are always scams...or at the very least not what they are sold to be.

Obviously, they’re selling stuff that’s available for free online (screenshots on the website include freeware plug-ins by GTG Synths and Odo Synths).
I thought I recognized a couple of the screen shots you can't zoom in on.
