Mi Casa es su Casa

We are creating a collage of sounds from personal spaces around the world and want your world to be heard.
Please send a 30 second recording of the most interesting sound in your house to: [email protected]
When e-mailing the audio file (wav, aif or hi-res mp3) please include the neighborhood, city and state you live in as well as anything you’d like folks to know about the sound source. We will take all the submissions and stitch them together into a continuous string of found sound from homes around the world. The finished piece will be presented at the Sound in Space field recording festival () in Los Angeles this Saturday and will be made available on dublab.com as an audio archive and download file.

Actually, that may be not so far off Rob, as this is most likely an attempt of the government to listen-in on home recordists 'rooms'. The anal probes prolly come later on, after they've determined if it's necessary. Since it's a government thing, it doesn't have to be 'absolutely' necessary... just 'somewhat' necessary.
I wonder if this corresponds with tax season?
