The rating system has nothing to do with rankings...

That's good to know, Deebs . I was starting to get paranoid . 8 )

JScott... I don't know what to say . It sucked . : p

Kieth: Your sadness makes me sad . : { BUT, now you're song is in it's proper place . : )

I forget who had commented on the drums, in 'crackle hell', but yeah... that's our new drummer, and yes, he is quite good . Nice guy, too... listens well, is articulate, doesn't have a drinking problem, loves to play for hours on end... he'll never last . Bah !

He sounds like a good drummer Hue. We should put together an HRC all-star band. That'd be a fun project.

I could be wrong, but I think that something like that was actually done once...

Maybe I'm thinking of when dB reworked his solo-album, and had a bunch'a HRCers play stuff on it ? Maybe it was called something different, though ? Man, that was a long time ago .

I posted a live-recorded scratch-track of the actual work, it's just me and the drummer working out the finer points of it... could be better, but at least there's no crackle-hell going on .

Man, that makes the drummer sound like even more of a madman. I am picturing the incredible Hulk sitting behind the kit with his arms flailing screaming something like this.

HULK ANGRY!!!! HULK SMASH!!!!!

I liked it, can't wait to hear what you end up doing with this. I liked the guitar parts though, interesting heavy stuff.

H'okay, here's the latest scratch for this one . Roger managed to put a hole in the kick, and has since reverted to the Tama kit which has a hole in the front head for micing . This version will be the final scratch that we use to do our separate takes to, so if there is anything that stands out as weird or blatantly musically-off PLEASE let me know . Thanks in advance for the listen... LOG Jam 1.1 in the profile .

I'll be giving it a listen tomorrow.I've kicked more holes in kick drum heads then anybody I know that I've played with. But your guy really sounds as though he could easily do it without even trying.

Musically I like the arrangement. Its butt kicken indeed. Make damn sure the bass doesn't get lost in the shuffle though. The lower end distorted guitars could easily bury it, so make it have its own distinct thump.

I like the half cocked wah sound on one of the early guitar sections.

The radical pounding drum parts add a sort of chaotic feel to it, which is kinda cool.

I can't wait to hear were you end up with it indeed.

Cool . Thanks for listening, Noize . We just got done tracking the drums . Added a couple of mics to the kit... now we have more toms in the mix . Sounding good, so far .
