Help me out a lil....

My brother asked me to get him a book to help along with his guitar skills..

He didn't specify which book but the direction he gave me would be a book about scales, notes, song creation....something of that nature...

I figured this would be the best place since you guys always gave great advice...he does not know the notes on the guitar at this point.

That program Lyricist from Virtual Studio Systems is pretty cool too, chord charts and all that crap built in...

...not that I have used it in years since I know everything about everything, I'm just sayin...
